Speaker | Trainer | Coach
I was born and raised in Stephenville Newfoundland. After two years at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, I ran out of money and joined the Canadian Armed Forces as a Military Police Officer. I completed four years at the Royal Military College and earned a BA in Politics with a Minor in Military Psychology and Leadership.
Over the next 11 years I worked in Borden, Kingston, Ottawa and Toronto and visited Rural Northern Canada (x4), Afghanistan (x3), Kuwait (x3), Germany, Poland and Ukraine.
In 2017 I entered a depression that brought me to the verge of suicide. I reached out for help and was diagnosed with an Operational Stress Injury and Medically Released from the Canadian Armed Forces.
Since then I've retrained as a Certified Professional Coach and have dedicated my life to helping others avoid the same fate by sharing my experience and tools through public speaking, resiliency training and coaching.
My beautiful wife and I live in Toronto with our dog and two cats.
